Yes, I'm still alive.

So, back in Brussels for the moment. There are still a few tax issues to be sorted out before I can become an Indian resident. I may actuallt end up speding half my time in Brussels and half in India. This does not bother me too much as it means I can do things like to Champagne for my first weekend back. I was good and only bought 11 bottles. It was an excellent weekend all round.
